Blog 10 - Positive Lifestyle Changes
As we have moved deeper and deeper into quarantine over the past few weeks, it is all too easy to view only the negative aspects of life. It's easy for me to wish that I could go out with friends or gather with other people to eat, drink, sing, and be merry. However, several positive aspects have come out of such a dramatic lifestyle change. For me, one of the most significant and most influential changes has been the amount of time I can set aside to read. During the school year, it is usually all too easy to get overwhelmed with the reading that I "must" do, and I forget about the reading that I would simply "like" to do. Now with extra hours in my day freed up, I have been able to devote that time to reading books that have waited patiently on the shelf. I can no longer go out in person, but I have found a way to leave the house through several beautiful books that have been dormant and waited for me to open them up and escape within their pages.
